I am Stephen May and am a candidate for the FORHA Board of Directors (BOD).  My wife, Leslie, and I moved to Fair Oaks Ranch in 2010 along with my mother-in-law in 2014.  This hill country, laid-back golfing community with its wildlife was the only area we considered.  Just about every day you can find us on the golf course playing a quick round in the morning.  We are avid skiers which our 12-year-old daughter also enjoys in addition to golf and soccer.

I retired in 2001 as an Air Force Chief Master Sergeant after 21 years of service.  My wife is a retired Air Force Senior Master Sergeant.  During my career I was fortunate enough to work with some terrific people and together we designed new network strategies that allowed for centralization of network services, keeping many support personnel out of combat zones.

After retirement I contracted with a major information technology firm supporting the DoD medical systems and its networks.  After 12 years I retired for good.  I have an MBA degree from UTSA.

I served on the restrictions committee of my community along the Parkway for 9 years.  While working on this committee I have gotten to know my neighbors and have been able to assist them with restriction issues.  Earlier I was a member of the Timberwood Park HOA from 1991-1994, which was an education as the community had begun to grow.  In addition to managing building and restrictions requests, we maintained the park within the community.

I would like to join the FORHA BOD to help enhance the lives of our neighbors living here on the Ranch.  I am keen on communication and working together to solve issues.  I believe in listening to the residents and moving forward with what is most needed for the community in the most cost-effective manner.  I have seen many changes over the years in Fair Oaks Ranch and of course, much growth.  I believe we can work together within FORHA to make our lives even better.  I would appreciate your support and vote.
