Allison Clark

My name is Allison P. Clark III, Colonel, United States Army (Retired).  I have the honor of running for a Director’s position on the FORHA Board of Directors and I would like to share some things about myself and my thoughts for your consideration.  My wife, Janet, and I moved to Fair Oaks Ranch in 2008.  I am 66-years old.  I enjoy hunting, fishing and golf, and Janet enjoys reading and cooking.  We have five grown children and six grandchildren.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a Master’s degree in health care administration.  I retired from the U.S. Army in 2011 after more than 33-years active duty.  I served primarily in human resources for the Army Medical Department in between operational deployments to: Somalia, Bosnia, Kosovo and Iraq.  During these deployments I served as Deputy Commander and Executive Officer of a medical task force including all the elements of combat health service support.  During my career I held assignments as commander at company, battalion and brigade-level with responsibility for thousands of soldiers and multi-million dollar annual budgets.  In my final assignment I served as the senior military human resources officer for the U.S. Army Medical Command at Fort Sam Houston.

I am generally a fiscal conservative, believing in responsible and prudent use of resources.  My interest and focus for the FORHA Board of Directors will be to bring inclusive representation for all homeowners of Fair Oaks Ranch.  I believe that the extensive senior level management and executive work experience that I can bring provides me with a strong foundation from which to work with the members of FORHA to deconflict our path forward.  I want to maintain and nurture the natural beauty and country feel of Fair Oaks Ranch that led us to retire here 12-years ago.    As Fair Oaks Ranch continues to grow, I want to help guide proper planning for the future, while representing all demographics and areas of our community.
